Reinold ‘Ray’ Chennell, 83, of Liberty Township, OH, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.
Ray is predeceased by his parents Fred and Elizabeth Chennell and his loving wife Judy Chennell (nee Cain). He is survived by his children Carilyn (Michael) Stewart; Richard (Kathleen) Chennell and their children Ian and William; brother Robert (Sue) Chennell. He is adored by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends around the world.
He was born at home on November 23, 1936 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Proviso High School, Maywood, IL. and was a NICOR retiree. He was a dedicated husband, father and Papa. He was his grandsons’ number one fan and never missed a sporting event from grade school thru Moeller High School. Ray was proud supporter of all things Chicago especially it's pizza, beef and sports teams (except the Cubs).
The family plans a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Parkinson’s Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 in his honor.

He was the best uncle on top of all the other accolades. I spent many happy hours going places and games with him. Some memorable games at Moeller High School watching his grandsons.
