Guthrie, Richard K., husband, father, grandfather. Age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Venice, Florida. Passed away on March 19, 2009. Preceded in death by brother, James, and by daughter, Janis. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Mildred (Dolan); daughter, Joan (Greg) McIntyre; sons, Doug (Rosalie), Paul (Susie), David (Susanna) and Kirk (Niza); granddaughters, Anne, Cori, Jean, Molly and Tessa; grandsons, Christopher, Cypress, Jared, Kyle, Michael, Quinton and Sydney. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the U.S. Army and worked at Los Alamos, New Mexico on the Atomic Bomb Project. Richard valued his long career in engineering at Procter & Gamble and his life-long avocations as a pianist and singer. Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, 9080 Cinti-Dayton Rd., West Chester, on Wednesday, March 25, from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250, Sarasota, FL 34237.
