Rita and George were my son’s
godparents when we lived in
Wichita, Kansas in 1960. We lost
contact with them when we were
all transferred. They have been
on my mind and was just going
to see if I could locate them,
when I saw Rita’s obituary.

My deepest sympathy and prayers
to your family.

I met Rita when we were in nursing school together. All us felt close in those years when we lived in the dorm and took care of patients. It created a special bond. She came to lunch with our classmates several years ago and looked so well and was so optimistic about her illness. I’ll always remember her kindness and spirit of joy. My condolencs to all of her family.

I met Rita at Shelli’s bridal shower. Many times over the years I knew her, she was at all of the various Hoffmann gatherings and was also at my bridal shower, wedding and baby shower. You could tell how much she loved her grandchildren and all of the people she would come in contact with. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with Shelli and her family.
