Matthes, Rita Frances (nee Basch). Born June 5, 1940, she went home to be with her Lord Saturday, November 21, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Fred Matthes. Loving mother of Patty (Nick) Snider, Fred R Matthes Jr (Missy) and the late Kathy Matthes. Special Niece Karen Saylor and husband Steve and their son Kyle. Life long friends Marlene Smith and Lois Branno. Dear Grandmother of DJ, Nicholas, Phoenix, Shelby and Kelly. Daughter of the late Mathias and Frances Basch. Sister of the late Anna (Basch) Witt. Daughter in Law to the late Helen Matthes. Graveside service held at St Joseph Cemetery, Funeral preparations by Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, West Chester Ohio.
