Rita Imelda (Cusick) Wagner August 26, 1943- March 23, 2021
On March 23, 2021 this world lost Rita I. Wagner AKA “RITA THE GREAT” to her next adventure.
Born and raised In Patterson, NJ in 1943. The youngest of 6 children born to Charles and Isabel Cusick. As an adult moved to Cincinnati, OH to join her oldest brother Chuck. Soon after met her husband Ronald “Bud” Wagner. Raised 4 children. Rita was an Educator in the Montessori Schools. Retired Product Research Manager from P&G.
Until we meet again, we will remember Rita’s adventurous spirit. Her love of new places and new things. Always emerging herself into different cultures, also participating in protests and marches. Rita was an avid reader. She loved art, music, culture, plays, musicals, and travel. Most of all she loved and lived for her family.
Preceded in death by her husband Ronald “Bud” Wagner. She also reunited with her beloved son Matthew. Devoted Mother of Michelle VanMeter, Shari Wagner, Matthew and Mark Wagner. Cherished Gma to 9 grandchildren Leslie, Douglas, Kyle, Tyler, Jordan, Laura, Kayla, Jaden and Tristan. Adored Great Gma to 7 great grandchildren Dakota, Savannah, Farrah, Bentley, Reese, Willow and Micheal. Survived by 4 siblings Charles, Marie, Isabel and her twin Robert. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held Sat. April 3, 2021 2pm-4pm at the Embassy Suites Cincinnati 10 E Rivercenter Blvd. Covington, KY 41011, Roebling 3 Ballroom (parking under hotel, tickets will be validated) Masks and social distancing observed
