Robert James Minor Age 68, of Mason and Lake Waynoka OH, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was born September 9, 1941 in Attleboro, MA, the son of Robert R Minor and Madeline Flynn Minor. Robert attended Attleboro City Schools and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. On January 21, 1961 he married Judith Anne Gracie. Robert worked as an engineer for the Foxboro Co for over 35 years, retiring in 2007. Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judith Anne Minor; son, Michael Minor and wife, Lisa and four grandchildren, Eric, William, Alex and Zoey of Arlington TX; daughter Rhonda Pitkin and husband Doug and two grandchildren, Doug and Emily of Lake Waynoka OH; and daughter Robin Minor-Chamberlain and Roger Chamberlain and three grandchildren Joshua, Brian, and Darin and one great grandchild Evelyn . Bobâ€™s life centered on his love for God, his family and World Missions. Affectionately known as â€œPapaâ€, his wisdom and passion for being Godâ€™s servant and desire for building Godâ€™s kingdom will be greatly missed yet we rejoice in knowing he is home with his Lord and Savior. Husband, father and Godâ€™s faithful servant. Friends may call at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH 45069, Sunday February 14 visitation beginning at 5:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Bob Mahaffey, Pastor Richard E. Pride II and Pastor Leslie (Gene) Goodwin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Church of the Nazarene, Work & Witness for Peru.
I was a classmate of Bob’s in the Attleboro High School class of 1960. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. Sounds like his family and his faith were very important components of his life. I want to extend my sincere sympathy and condolences to you all at this difficult time.
I just found out about Bob. My heart goes out to you. You and Bob have been missed since you have moved.

Joyce and I just learned of Bob’s passing from Dana. I remember the times we worked together at Foxboro and the good times we had together. Miles will keep us from attending tomorrows service, but our thought and prayers will be with you.
I was saddened to leard of Bob’s death. We had a wonderful time playing football at Attleboro High School. Although I never had the priviledge of meeting his family, I hope you find some consolation in the fact my prayers are with you during these difficult days.
I thank God for his life, the good times you had together and the fond memories you will carry into future years.

Judy, we were very sorry to hear of your loss. We remember Bob in the band booster days when your two girls were in dance team and flags. He certainly wasn’t that old. Bob was a classmate of mine in the Attleboro High School Class of 1960. I remember his warm smile and caring way and am sending condolences and peaceful thoughts to all the family.
