Rose Mary Schaefer

June 26, 1947 — January 2, 2022

Wife of the late Walt Schaefer. Mother of Alison (Nicolas) Hupp. Grandmother of Annie Prather. Daughter of the late William and Roberta Brown. Sister of the late Greg Brown. Also survived by friends Brenda Davis and Sue Hotze. Rose Mary taught First Grade for 35 years through the Winton Woods City Schools, retiring in 2004. Following Walt’s passing in 2019, she resided at the West Chester Assisted Living and Memory Care, until her passing on January 2, 2022. She had the support of Hospice for the last several months of her life. Memorial Visitation will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011, on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. A reception will immediately follow at St. Maximilian Kolbe. Burial of ashes will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
