Sean Thomas Ingalls was tragically taken from us on July 23, 2022. He was the beloved son of Pamela Rose Ingalls, and was born on June 13, 2003 in Greenville, SC.
Sean was a 2021 graduate of Lakota East High School. He proudly served The United States of America as a Private First Class in the 19th Engineer Battalion 541st Sapper Company in Fort Knox, KY.
Sean was the glue that held his friend group together. He orchestrated many epic parties at his home, and was always the life of the party. His cousins and family have expressed that “Family Christmas will not be the same without Sean’s hysterical games of Cards Against Humanity.” For those that knew Sean…many things will not be the same because he touched the lives of so many.
He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Metallica, the thrill of roller coasters, his dog Chewy, his Country that he proudly served, his family, and above all his mother, Pamela.
He is survived by his loving mother, Pamela Rose Ingalls, sisters Jillian Theta Rose & Jia Opal Milan Cinnamon, Linda Rose Lips (Aunt), Randy (Carla) Rose (Uncle/Aunt), Bryan (Sandi) Rose (Uncle/Aunt), And cousins Miranda Badgier, Megan (Dan) Sloan, Colleen (Kyle) Sullivan, Michelle (Justin) Pickett, Natalie Lips, Eric Rose, Sarah Rose & Bryan Rose Jr. Countless others grieve his loss.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 4 PM until 7 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM. Graveside Service will be held at Brush Run Cemetery in Venetia, PA, on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11 AM.

My son was with yours at BootCamp in FLW. They were in the same company, just different platoons. My son was shaken when he heard of this tragedy. We are from NW Ohio so he had talked with Sean. He had nothing but good things to say about him. Please know we are grieving with you. Our hearts are broken for this unimaginable loss. We are praying for peace and comfort. Please know that your son had a positive impact on many lives.

I was privileged to teach Sean in Speech class. He brought enthusiasm, kindness, drive and humor every day. Lots and lots of wit and humor! It is heartbreaking to learn Sean is gone, much, much too soon, and I grieve for his family and friends. Please take solace in this: when Sean was with us, he made his mark, and he will be missed.

Mrs. Ingalls and family, I was so saddened to read of Sean's passing. He was a favorite student of mine at Lakota East Freshman School; I clearly remember his wit and wisdom. Mrs. Ingalls, you may remember that we exchanged many emails that year as Sean worked at figuring out how best to "do school" at that age! He obviously figured it out and went ahead and became a successful young man. He must have been so proud to be a member of the armed forces, and you must have been proud of him. My sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your beloved son. May fond memories and the support of family and friends help you through this most difficult time. Rest in peace, Sean. Sincerely, Mrs. DeGennaro

We are so very saddened to hear of Sean's passing. Sean was my son Dylan's longtime best friend and those two were such a pair! They went everywhere with their amusement park rollercoaster adventures along with Waffle House visits, video games, bonfires, crazy food concoction contests, and so much more. They were inseparable at school and Dylan had so, so much fun with him. We will miss him immensely. Love, Ben, Lisa, Dylan & Tristian Neal.

I did not know this young man or his family and friends. My daughter and I rolled up on the scene of the accident on Saturday and were the first ones to stop. I just felt in my heart the need to reach out to his family to let them know there were people with him and he was not alone. Just reading all of the condolences that have been left I know this world lost a very loving soul. I have prayed for his family and friends so much since Saturday and will continue to keep all in my prayers. Has for his sweet mother I pray God gives you the strength needed in the days and weeks to come. Sending my deepest condolences.

So many hearts are hurt by this loss, but I am bless to know Ingalls as a battle buddy. I will never forget DS Poore yelling his name anywhere we went just to hear his response. As we all knew, he had so much heart and was an amazing soldier. I wish he had more time to make change in the world.
