Thomas B. Runck

RUNCK, Thomas B., beloved husband of Patricia Runck (nee Funke). Loving father of Jennifer (Jason) Wells, Elise (Chip) Rielage, and Thomas Runck, Jr. Devoted grandfather of C.J. Rielage, Carrie Rielage, Jaydon Wells, Jordan Wells, Gavin Runck and Catelyn Runck. Brother of the late Meredith Runck Jr. and twin brother of the late Timothy (Janis) Runck. Son of the late Meredith and Marion Runck. Tom also leaves behind many other family members, friends and neighbors who have been such a blessing to him. He passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at the age of 74. He was a Vietnam Veteran and member of DAV Chapter 15 in Hamilton, OH. Tom loved his family and friends, riding his yellow Honda Goldwing with Pat, fishing from his boat in Michigan, being a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, participating in ham radio, riding his power chair to the park, kisses from all the dogs who shared his life, and just having fun and making people laugh.

Private family graveside services with military honors will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Spring Grove Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends in Tom’s memory will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 4695 Blue Rock Road, Cincinnati, OH  45247.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans National Headquarters, 860 Dolwick Drive, Erlanger, KY  41018 (all donations are tax deductible) or charity of your choice.
