Nancy, Tim had me laughing every time I saw him. He will be missed by all, both near and far away. Many times life throws hardships to you we don’t understand, but with the aid of faith, family and friends life can still be fun and not just autopilot. We love you.
My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers for the entire family. Tim was a great man and I was always so grateful to him for visiting my Grandfather (Joe Schlosser)and bringing him delicious food.
Although I only met Tim in recent times through work, my initial impression was what a nice and caring guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time.
Back in high school Tim and Nancy both always made us girls feel more than welcome in their home. Whether acting as a meeting place for our senior prom, checking in on use while painting Stephs room in the basement, or just making us all laugh. And of course I’ll never forget our senior trip and how much fun we had thanks to Tims generosity. My deepest sympathies are extended to the Merkle family.
I know Tim is telling his fun stories to everybody by now. Oh how we will miss all the fun times, whether it be on the patio, at our dining room table playing cards, or grabbing a few drinks. Our hearts and prayers are with you all, and we will be here for you for anything. Love from Jo Ann, Terry and Kellie
We were so shocked and sadden when we heard about Tim. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, He will be missed greatly.

Nancy, Chad, and Steph,
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you and your family & friends during this time of sadness in your lives.
As we all understand, our Lord has plans for Tim and how he will continue to be a loyal servant for his work. He will now by watching over you from above and celebrating life in a renewed way.
All the Best
There are only a few people that we encounter in a life time that have humble sincerity and a true zest for life, Tim was one of those few.
He will always be admired and loved but most of all for his dedicated love to his beautiful wife and wonderful children.
May his family and friends who he now joins in Heaven enjoy his humor as much as we did!
Sherry and Chris Kauffung

Love and miss you so much Tim.
