Virginia L. Hagaman, 60, passed away from her battle with cancer July 30th, 2019 at her home in West Chester, OH with her family and friends by her side.
She was born January 4th, 1959, in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Ismael and Josephine Rivera. She grew up in Danielson, CT and graduated from Killingly high school in 1977. Virginia moved to West Chester, OH in 1992 after working 23 years for Anchor Glass Container in Dayville, CT. She worked at Cincinnati Sub Zero up until her illness forced her to stop working. She loved all her coworkers like family so much so she held three jobs for the past 15 years including the West Chester Meijer and Lowe’s stores. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time at her lake house, her two dogs, German Shepard Lilly and Doberman Larry.
Virginia is survived by her devoted children: Jennifer St. John and her husband Tim; Joshua Luppert and his wife Francesca. Parents; Ismael and Josephine Rivera. Siblings; Julie Rivera, James Rivera, Joyce Greiner (Rivera), Wayne and Maryann Rivera, and Virginia’s longtime companion Greg Butler and family. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived by her former husband, Gary Luppert.
She was predeceased by a former husband William Hagaman; a sister Joanne Beaugard (Rivera), and a niece Jessica Marrotte.
A memorial service will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on August 2nd at Hodapp Funeral home 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road 45069 in West Chester, Ohio.
