Heidrich, Jr. Dear brother to Kathy Koch, Fran (Mark) Butcher, Mary Ann (David) Fox, Terry (Burton) Cole, John (Cecilia) Heidrich, Christine (David) Riley, and Pat Washington. Also survived by twenty-four nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles, and his loving family by marriage. Died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the age of 56 years. Bill was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio. He graduated from St. John High School in 1972 where he received numerous academic honors. He attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and graduated cum laude in 1976. Bill received his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1979. He started his career in Patent and Licensing law at The Standard Oil Company (later BP) in Cleveland; in 1988, he moved to Cincinnati to continue practicing intellectual property law at Quantum Chemical (later LyondellBasell). Bill’s interests included music, playing trombone in high school and college and singing in the church choir; sailing on Lake Erie; genealogy research; SCUBA diving, and traveling. First and foremost, he was devoted to his family. He was Debbie’s soul mate for over 29 years. He was so proud of Bill and Emily and loved them very much. Bill was dedicated to loving and supporting his parents, siblings, and extended family. He will always be remembered for his intelligence, integrity, generosity, and wonderfully wry sense of humor. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, July 29 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 101 S. Lebanon Road, Loveland, 45140. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10 am.
